What it does

Toilets nearby

The map opens where you are and shows what is within walking distance, with the distance to each.

Works offline

Areas you have loaded stay on your phone. No signal underground, no data plan abroad — the map still works.

Prices up front

You can see whether a toilet is free before you walk there. 91 per cent of the entries are marked free.

Step-free access

10,380 toilets are marked step-free, and you can limit the map to them.

Reviews and photos

Other people's notes tell you what to expect. You can rate places and add pictures yourself.

Directions and sharing

One tap starts navigation in your usual maps app, or sends a link to someone else.

Free and Pro

The app is free and shows a small banner advert. Pro costs €5.99 a year, removes the advertising and adds:

It renews yearly and can be cancelled at any time in your Google Play account. There is no trial that quietly turns into a subscription — you either buy it or you do not.

Where the data comes from

Most entries come from OpenStreetMap, a map built by volunteers and published under the ODbL licence. The rest are added by people using the app. Both sources are updated continuously.

That also means the data is not perfect. A toilet may have closed, a price may have changed, an entry may be missing altogether. If you notice something wrong, you can correct it in the app in a few seconds — and that correction reaches everyone else.

What the app knows about you

Your location is used on your device to centre the map and work out distances. You need an account only to add toilets or write reviews; browsing the map works without one. The full details are in the privacy policy.

Common questions

What does the app cost?
Nothing. Pro, which removes the ads and adds filters, is €5.99 per year.
Is there an iPhone version?
Yes. The app is on the App Store and on Google Play.
Does it work abroad?
Yes, worldwide. Load the area before you travel and it works without a data plan.
Do I need an account?
Not to look at the map. Only to add a toilet or leave a review.
How do I cancel Pro?
In the Google Play Store under Subscriptions, or from the link inside the app. It runs to the end of the paid year.
How much storage does the offline map use?
Very little — the data is plain text, not map images. A whole country is a few megabytes.
Can I add a toilet that is missing?
Yes, and it takes about half a minute: set the location, choose the type, optionally add a photo.

Figures counted across the 196 cities listed on this site. The app covers more than 350,000 toilets worldwide.
